The file "iTunes Library.itl" cannot be read because it was created by a newer version of iTunes.

See Empty/corrupt iTunes library after upgrade/crash - Apple Community. In particular see the section of bullet points. You may need to restore a backup copy of the .itl file or actively reconnect to the correct one.
