Hacking an iPhone

Is it possible to hack an iPhone if it is locked, but stolen?

is it possible for me to wipe my phone remotely if it is stolen?

Asking because someone’s Samsung phone was stolen, hacked, passwords accessed even though she tried to remotely wipe it.

Thank you so much Mr SravanKrA for your time in writing several answers. It makes me feel very relieved I have an iPhone! I remember years ago in a terrorist incident, Apple would not unlock a phone and police could not to hack into it either, so I wondered if that had changed. I am glad this is still the case with iPhones. I have a 12 Pro Max because it takes wonderful photos.
