I’ve noticed that this same problem was posted in a conversation in 2021. Can’t believe this problem still exists. Also noticed that this problem was never solved in the previous conversations. Please help if you can. Thank you. Pretty frustrated

If you have enabled two step verification on Google then please check the password that you are using. Your actual password may not work on iOS, you need to generate app specific password from Google Account

An App Password is a 16-digit passcode that gives a non-Google app or device permission to access your Google Account. App Passwords can only be used ... Sign in using App Passwords - Google Account Help

Have you enabled two-step verification with your Microsoft account (Outlook)

You will have to generate app specific password --> Using app passwords with apps that don't support two-step ...

I guess probably you have enabled two-step verification for extra security on Yahoo! Mail.

In that case you need app specific password for iOS mail app.

Watch the GIF below for generating and using app specific Yahoo password on iOS mail app. On other Yahoo app and on a web browser you do not require to generate this app specific password

Remove your email account and set it up again

Make sure that all of your emails are there or make sure that your email is saved somewhere other than your device. On your device, go to Settings > Mail, then tap Accounts. Tap the email account that you want to remove. Tap Delete Account.

You have not even provided the email account that you are having difficulty with and you are referring to 2021 unsolved issues. Probably that may be the reason why the issue remains unresolved till now.

With the limited information that you have provided, It is hard to even guess the problems faced by you.
