iPhone Bluetooth

When I connect my iPhone to my car via usb it stops the Bluetooth connection. This is not a car fault since my android works with Bluetooth while connected. Is there a solution for this?

Hello joão61!

It seems like your CarPlay turns on when you connect your cable.

On solution is you can use the 12V outlet and an adapter to charge your iPhone, or you can turn off CarPlay in your ScreenTime settings:

Go to Settings > Screen Time > Content & Privacy Restrictions > Allowed Apps. Now, make sure that the switch next to CarPlay is off.

It depends, Bluetooth contacts work on a screen in the dashboard and CarPlay on the radio screen. Again Android Auto works seamlessly with cable and Bluetooth on. Contacts on the small screen and maps on the radio unit. Is there a way to make this work?

Sorry to disagree, as explained my car show contact list on the steering wheel screen via Bluetooth which does not work when CarPlay is on. Again this connection issue did not happen with android, is there anyway to correct this?
