Connect external hard drive with USB-A plug to Thunderbolt 4 on new Mac Mini?

I have a late-2014 Mac Mini with four USB ports that accept USB-A male plugs. I use all four of them, as well as other devices that get plugged in occasionally (SSD backup drive, Apple external DVD drive)

I am upgrading to a new Mac Mini. I haven't received it, and I'm trying to prepare. Apple says it has two USB-A ports with female USB-A connectors, and four Thunderbolt-4 ports.

Starting from a USB-A plug, what cable or adapters do I need, to connect that plug to one of the Thunderbolt 4 ports on the new Mac Mini?

The new Mac Mini's have combined USB-C/Thunderbolt 4 ports.

What you need a USB-C to USB adapter.

USB-C to USB Adapter - Apple

or an aftermarket high speed USB-C to USB-A adapter.
