MacBook - Safari - Google Search Bar: After entering search request and pressing "Enter", cursor jumps to next line instead of searching.

MacBook - Safari - Google Search Bar: After entering search request text in google search bar on google.com and pressing "Enter", cursor jumps to next line instead of searching. I have to click on search symbol with mouse to initiate search. Search works by clicking enter if entered in the browser address bar.

I couldn't find anything on google or Apple forum. I experience this minor issue since today April 14th 2023. In Chrome browser it works as previously: I click enter and the search is starting.

Does anyone know whether there is a setting for this or how I can initiate search just with keyboard without using my mouse?

I found the reason for this issue: AdBlock Pro extension was preventing the dropdown with suggestions below the google search bar. Therefore clicking "enter" created a new line instead of searching.

Solution: disable extension.

Note: This was not the case in the past (even yesterday it worked), so something has changed.
