If your favorite locations keep disappearing in Apple Maps, there could be a few reasons why this is happening. Here are some steps you can take to try to resolve the issue:

  1. If you have multiple devices using the same Apple ID or you are sharing Apple ID with others then you need check with them too.
  2. Ensure that iCloud is enabled for Maps. Go to Settings > [your name] > iCloud, and make sure that the toggle switch next to "Maps" is turned on. This will ensure that your Maps data is backed up to iCloud and synced across your devices.
  3. Make sure that location services are enabled for Apple Maps. Go to Settings > Privacy > Location Services, and make sure that the toggle switch next to "Maps" is turned on.
  4. If none of the above steps work, you can try resetting Apple Maps. Go to Settings > General > Reset > Reset Location & Privacy. This will reset all location and privacy settings, including those for Apple Maps.
  5. Contact Apple Support: If none of the above steps work, you can contact Apple Support for further assistance. They may be able to help you troubleshoot the issue and find a solution.
