I have an iPhone 13 and use the mail app for Yahoo. In the last few months I have sent several emails from my phone that have completely disappeared (and were not received by the recipient). When this happened I had a good wi-fi connection. The emails are not in drafts, outbox, etc. How do I fix this? Note that this has not been a problem when using Yahoo on my computer.

When you indicate that you "use the mail app for Yahoo" it's not clear if you're referring to the Apple-developed Mail app with your Yahoo account, or the Yahoo Mail app developed by Yahoo.
If using the Apple app, it may be necessary to check your account configuration to ensure the settings are appropriate for outgoing messages to use the Yahoo service. The support article Add and remove email accounts on iPhone covers basics on email account configuration.
If the concern is with the Yahoo app, use How to contact an app developer to contact the developer of that app for additional support on this matter.
