Spotify not working

I've recently gotten the Apple Watch SE 2nd generation but for some reason I can't listen to music through my apple watch. When I'm on Spotify on my apple watch, the only devices I can listen from is my phone, my amazon Alexa, or my PC. It doesn't give me the option to listen from my apple watch.

My partner has a series 7 apple watch and he doesn't have this issue!

Any suggestions/advice/info? Very much appreciated.
