Apple Mail not loading message content

For some time Apple Mail will load content very slowly, there are times where I click on a message and wait up to a minute before content populates. I have checked various mail and security settings and have had no luck, until today.

System Preferences > Network, uncheck Limit IP Address Tracking

After this change email is working flawlessly, I'll report back if this changes.

Mail is still slow loading messages It looks like there is still not a fix to the problem of Apple Mail being slow to load messages. It is hugely irritating. I am running OS Monterey 12.6.3 on my late 2015 Mac with 24 GB, and everything but Mail works fine. Mail also works fine on my IPAD, and IPhone, just not on my Mac. Previous comments for workarounds suggest anti-virus software might be the culprit, but it is not conclusive. I don't recall Mail having this problem until the last six months or so, but it could have been a gradual issue that I haven't recognized until now.

Mail content slow to load Apple Mail takes forever to show email content in the Preview window, sometimes up to 2 minutes. This happens for all accounts, every day. iCloud is enabled and online. It is not the Internet connection. On Monterey 12.5 and started having this issue after the last update. Booting in Safe mode doesn't change anything and neither does changing Privacy settings by unchecking Protect Mail Activity. Any thoughts? Other threads on this topic have gone dark.

Apple Mail delays in getting mail content once an email is opened I use Apple Mail on an iMac, with a primary email address of _____@twc.com but also get some mail like Apple News from @icloud.com There is a delay in getting mail content. The sender and subject show in preview immediately but not the content. Even after opening, the content is blank for a minute or so. So after downloading the mail, I go browse for awhile to wait for the content to appear. This does not always happen. It happens when a lot (10-20) of messages come into the Inbox, like in the morning, but not when I send myself a test message. This started not too long ago, perhaps after the update to Monterey.
