I'm not getting mail from the Optimum server, but I am getting mail from my gmail account. Anyone have a solution?

Unable to send outgoing email using "MAIL" after updating to 13.6.8. I called up Apple support and despite removing and adding back my Gmail on the "mail" app but to no avail. Apple support CS recommended to update to 14.5 and see if it works. I am very dissapointed as I was happy using 13.6.7 and regret updating to 13.6.8. I am using the MBP-13 inch m1-2020 with 8gb.

No Incoming Mail on Laptop/ But iPhone and Webmail fine Hi There! I'm running Mail 16.0 on my MacBook Pro-Sonoma 14.1.2 My email provider was down for an hour - and while now back up... the incoming mail gives me a message that there are no new messages. I am receiving incoming via webmail, on my iPhone- and even on my old laptop- but nothing has updated here on my main laptop for days. Outgoing messages work fine. Ive checked the basic settings on my iphone to ensure they match my laptop.... and I can't see any anomaly.
