A couple of days ago I ran a Safari software update from Apple. Every since then I have been receiving notices for McAffee - how do I make that stop?

Go to Safari > Settings > Websites > Notifications and remove all.

Do the same at Safari > Settings > Websites > Popup Windows.

And at Safari > Settings > Extensions.

If you installed McAfee, you should remove it according to their instructions.

Did you check the settings in Safari? They are made to look like System Notifications so you will click on them. You can certainly check at  > System Settings > Notifications, but without seeing the Alert, the same problem that you have described has been solved by changing the above Safari settings.

Thanks so much. I followed your instructions and thank goodness, that darn McAffee pop up disappeared.

How do those notices appear? Describe them or post a screenshot.
