After the mac os update 13.3.1 (22E261), the mouse track pad scrolling issue is happening in all the browser. The scrolling stops in between with a lag.

After the lastest update in Mac OS 13.3.1 (22E261). The mouse scroll is lagging frequently. I am using Macbook Air M1. This issue seems to be happening in all the browser.

Hi!

Yours is a very common problem. If your mouse is an Apple Magic Mouse, most users have solved it in three ways. The first is to disconnect and reconnect the mouse. To do this, open Settings, then click Bluetooth, press the "i" next to your mouse and press "Dissociate this device". Then reconnect the mouse by selecting it from the Bluetooth settings.

The second method consists in disconnecting the mouse from the computer (as I described above) and reconnecting it manually via cable. To do this, take any Apple Lightning to USB-C cable and connect it to your mouse and one of the two Thunderbolt 4 ports of your MacBook Air M1 on the left side of your computer. At this point, unlock your computer and agree to whatever the device asks, then stop your Mac and leave the mouse connected for a few minutes. Then take it off.

If the problem persists, try adjusting the mouse speed as follows:

1) Open Your Settings

2) Open the "Mouse" menu

3) In the "Point and click" menu, move the "Pointer Speed" stick to the right

I hope I helped you!

I’m sorry I misunderstood your question. Some users have encountered similar problems with the trackpad of the MacBook Air M1. A user solved the problem by restarting the computer whenever it appeared. I also recommend that you go to System Settings, then in the "Trackpad" menu and in the "Point and click" menu, move the "Pointer Speed" stick to the right.

I hope I helped you!

It seems that fixing the pinch-to-zoom gesture issue with the trackpad (that had been ongoing for such a long time) inadvertently broke two finger scrolling in certain macOS apps, most noticeably within the settings app. scrolling freezes about half way through any list in the settings app - I am not sure which issue is worse, the pinch to zoom or two finger scrolling. I am also not sure why one has to be broken in order for the other to work???

*****I'M HAVING the same issue
