Using "Find My" With an E-Sim Card

I have an Iphone SE. I will be travelling to UK and France. When I arrive I will be using a E-Sim. Since they will then issue me a temporary phone number with this E-Sim, will my "Find My" tracker still work for my family in Canada tracking me ? Is FindMy linked to the device or the phone number ?
