Files Icon
On my iPhone 14 the Files icon has disappeared from Home Screen (I certainly did not delete it). When following instructions to reinstall it doesn't happen - any ideas what else I can try.

If you're sure you didn't accidentally move that icon to a different screen page or into a folder, open App Library (generally File icon is into Productivity group) then drag it to your Home screen.

Hi!
Your problem has many solutions.
First of all, you can try to search for the File app by dragging down your finger on your Home Screen and search in the "File" search box. If you find the app then you can open it from there. To make it reappear on the Home screen, you have to scroll to the App Library on the Home screen (right), search for the File app, long press the icon and press the "Add to Home" button.
I hope I helped you!
Thank you for your early response. I did check all folders just in case I moved in error but no it's not there.
Thank you for your immediate response. I can open the Files when I search but it won't let me drag to Home Screen
Okay, then search for it in your App Library (as I already suggested).
Have a nice day.
Giulio
Try this: when you see the icon in the App Library, press long press and then "Add to Home Screen". It’s the same thing I said before, but it seems strange that it doesn’t work.
I hope I helped you!
