How to Scroll left and right in Excel

Hold shift, scroll mouse wheel - Just confirmed it works perfectly!

Did you roll the mouse wheel with shift held down, or just tried left and right? With a cheap Logitech mouse with scroll wheel (doesn't go left or right), shift and scroll wheel scrolls left and right.

Try holding the shift key.

If you have a magic mouse just swipe a finger lightly across the top of the mouse to the left or right to scroll. Or you can drag the scroll bar at the bottom of your spreadsheet with the mouse to the right or left. Using a trackpad you can use two fingers to swipe right or left to scroll.

I'm not on my Mac right now but in Windows I just 2 finger swipe left or right on the touch pad. Maybe the Excel > Help > scroll contains some useful info.

Are you NOT using a mouse at all? If you are, you can drag the scroll bar at the bottom as I suggested previously disregarding the magic mouse or touchpad.

I'm not sure if it is right or wrong, but the extension has matter. If your Excel is saved as Windows base, the scroll bar might not work horizontally side by side. if you create new file 100% the horizontal is working fine
