Prevent Apple Music from auto-playing next song after current one finishes

On the Apple Music app (on iPhone), how do I stop it from automatically playing the next song in the album after the current one finishes?

Hello ripandey29,

To stop playing an album in Music, you would just press the pause button either in the Music app or on the lock screen.

If you just want one song in an album to play, you can turn on the repeat function. When that is turned on, it will just keep playing that one song and not move on to the next one in the album.

1. Open the Apple Music app.
2. Play a song.
3. Tap the song that's playing at the bottom of the screen.
4. In the screen that appears, tap the Playing Next button Playing Next button in the lower-right corner.
5. At the top of the Playing Next screen, tap the Repeat button Repeat button until it changes to Repeat One. When the Repeat button is highlighted with a number 1, Repeat One is turned on.

Cheers!

Hi Jaym_8

I am not asking either of those things.

My issue is that when a song in an album is finished playing, Apple Music starts playing the next song in the album. I don't want it to do that. I don't want the next song to play automatically, and I also don't want the current song to keep repeating. I want Apple Music to fall silent after the current song is done playing.
