sync iPhone photos
Trying to sync iphone (ios15.4.1) photos to imac (os 13.2.1). Ran complete (i thought) sync of over 19K images. Phone told me it was done, but some recent images are not there. Where do I find them?
iMac 24″, macOS 13.2

Hello dwh77,
Thank you for using Apple Support Communities. Sounds like you're not seeing some photos on your Mac after attempting to import them from your iPhone. If so, we'd like to help out. According to this resource here: Import photos from a camera or phone using Photos on Mac - Apple Support
If you didn’t import the photos into an album, they appear in the Imports album in the sidebar.
If the Photos app isn't populating your photos correctly, try closing out the app and then reopen it to help refresh things: How to force an app to quit on your Mac - Apple Support
If these photos don't appear at all in the Imports album and restarting the Photos app didn't help, you can try to start the import process again. This time, you will see which photos are showing up as "Already Imported", simply select the ones that were not successfully imported.
We hope this helps you out. Thank you for using Apple Support Communities. Take care.
