NOTES!!!! SLOW Error Messages Re Collaboration HELP!!!!

WELL after several calls to Apple and over 4 times to senior technicians. Numerous screen video recordings, and screen sharing, issues STILL NOT RESOLVED!!

What I am trying to achieve in IOS Notes with iCloud Folders.

LINKS from a folder call Links folder, that will take me to a specific parent folder that has numerous sub folders, and further sub folders and numerous notes. Also to then create links back from specific notes and sub folders back to the parent folder. EXAMPLE: We have a motorhome, so I have created a MOTORHOME - EVERYTHING folder. Within this folder, there are several subfolders for various needs, such as the motorhome documents, services, manuals etc. Amongst all these subfolders is a HOLIDAYS EVERYTHING folder, and within this folder are various other subfolders, such as 1 for UK holidays 1 for EU holidays. Within these subfolders, so say UK holidays, there will be subfolders for various years, such as 2020, 2021, 2023 etc. Within these will be further subfolder with towns, cities, counties. Others with actual dated tours etc etc.

As you can see from the numerous parent Folders, subfolders and further tiered folders and notes, I want a simple way to easily link between certain folders, without have to go back, go back, go back again etc. So ……

EXAMPLE: I want to go direct to Motorhome Everything / Holidays Everything / 2023 Holidays folder and a specific dated tour folder. I then want to creat a link between this folder and say a folder such as Towns, counties folder so I can obtain and read notes already created about the specific area we will be touring. I then want to create a link back from this folder to the dates tour folder. I have previously done this successfully, up to a certain point. I also created a specific LINKS FOLDER in the main iCloud parent folder list, as a quick shortcut to the Motorhome folder and other subfolders. Also within individual notes, which I have created for a touring itinerary, have created links to google route maps, websites for areas of interest and links back to sub and parent folders.

As Apple removed the ‘COPY LINK’ a few years ago, the only way to create a link (collaboration) for yourself NOT to send to someone else to share, IS to use the share option and send link to yourself. I then copy the link in my iMessage folder and past where needed in the specific parent, subfolder or note. As mentioned above I had previously managed to create many of the links without any issues. Then I started to get various errors, collaboration error, or the link has been removed etc etc. As said I have called and had various live conversations with senior technicians, with shared screen. Also uploaded video and image screenshots, diagnostics, and although this has now been escalated to their engineers, who have received copies of all the notes given, screen shots and diagnostic reports TWICE, they have still not come back with a solution. This is NOT isolated to one device, this replicates with several devices I have that have the same iCloud account. iPhone 13 Pro Max, iPad Pro 3rd Generation and also and older iPad and iPhone 11. All have the very latest IOS Software too.

I have looked at using IOS shortcuts app, but this seems a very longwinded process and doesn’t really achieve what I am looking for. After trying various 3rd party apps in the past, realised that some native apps, already have everything that’s needed, such as iOS notes, and with the various additional functionalities that Apple have added over the past few years, gives virtually everything that’s needed. As said when I started creating and using the various links between all the various folders and notes, it created a very powerful tool linking to folders back and forth with ease. But after having link issues now for over a month or more and also experiencing lagging sometimes is very frustrating. I have tried various 3rd party apps, but not yet found one that can do everything needed.

Any help, advice and guidance would be much appreciated …… perhaps I am asking to much from this app, that Apple has not yet perfected.
