Hi!
There are a few things you can try to solve the problem. First, clean the camera lens with a soft, slightly damp, lint-free cloth, preferably a lens cloth. Even a small amount of dust can affect your iPhone’s autofocus. Also, restart your iPhone and check if there are software updates available. If this doesn’t work, try turning on Lock Camera in Settings.
You could also try a forced reboot:
Quickly press and release the Volume up button
Quickly press and release the Volume down button
Long press the side button (power) until the Apple logo appears
If none of these steps work and the camera is not usable, you may want to consider restoring your iPhone to factory settings. This would take a full backup and could take a long time.
In addition, Apple has warned that exposure to vibrations, such as those generated by high-powered motorcycle engines, could affect iPhone cameras. If you have exposed your iPhone to high amplitude vibrations within certain frequency ranges, this may have degraded the performance of your camera system.
If the problem persists, you may want to try changing your camera settings. For example, you might turn off the automatic HDR option in the camera settings. Also, you might try to change the file format used by the camera to capture images on your iPhone. To do so:
1) Open the Settings app on your iPhone
2) Scroll to the "Camera" option
3) Select "Formats"
4) Choose the format you want to use. For example, the "More compatible (jpg)" format makes the photos slightly larger, but they are less grainy than the images captured using the high efficiency option.
If the problem persists, it could be a bug in the iOS software. In this case, the only real solution would be to update iOS.
If the problem still persists, it may be a hardware issue and I recommend contacting Apple Support.
I hope I helped you!
