Why can't my Apple TV connect to my library on my Mac? Home wi-fi is connected; however, every time I try to connect to my library, it says it can't connect! Help!

To confirm, on your Mac, is the setting enabled under Settings > Users and Accounts > Home Sharing? Additionally, per Use Home Sharing to share media from a computer to other devices - Apple Support:
After you sign in, follow these steps to access your computer's media library on your Apple TV:
1. Connect your Apple TV to the same Wi-Fi network as your computer.
2. On your computer, open the Music app, Apple TV app, or iTunes for Windows.
3. On your Apple TV, go to the Home Screen, select Computers, and choose a shared library.

For example, are you trying to view your photos, listen to music, what movies, watch home videos, or something else?

I have tried EVERYTHING to make Apple TV go to my library. Every AppleTV is linked to our Wi-Fi network. All are also signed in with my apple ID. Home Sharing is not working for me either. I am completely frustrated. All the movies and workout videos that are on my Mac are in my library. HELP
I opened Music, but when I click on Library, I do not get "My Library". I don't understand why I have to use Music to get to my library; what I need is getting to my library from AppleTV, not Music. I am frustrated...and my AppleTV shows my library, but will not connect to it.

I have a lot of movies stored there; on the Apple TV app on my Mac, they are all set up to play from there...however, with all the streaming options now, I really just want my library to have exercise videos and movies that aren't available elsewhere. I originally (several years ago) set up an external drive to play to my AppleTV, and it worked great for a while, but with upgrades and multiple AppleTVs I am now flummoxed as to how I get to my Library. When I go to AppleTV on my 2 TVs that are supposed to access my Library, I always get a "cannot connect to Wan's Library" message. I'm not understanding why, and although I have tried numerous times to follow directions on this community, the "Music" app - which used to be iTunes does not have my library (and why would it?). When I go to the AppleTV on my TVs, It shows "Wan's Library" but never connects. So any help I can get would be greatly appreciated!!!
