Apple Pay side button substited with Face ID?

Can I use Face ID instead of using the physical side button on my phone? Saying hypothetically, maybe my arms are broken and I can’t physically press the side button and double click it to confirm a purchase can I use Face ID to do that instead?

Apple Pay face ID I went on settings and made it so that the wallet can use face ID but i go back on the app and it doesn’t show as “pay with face ID”, the button just disappears, but if I turn the setting off to use password the button comes back showing “pay with password” could someone please explain how to fix this?

Face ID for RBS My wife has an iPhone 13 and had the option of using Face ID to log into the RBS Banking app I haven’t got the option on my iPhone 11 even though the bank says it has! Help
