turn on keyboard indicators on MacBook Pro
I have a MacBook Pro for which the keyboard indicator lights on top of of the keyboard are not lighting up. I'm a Mac novice. Can some advise me as to how to turn this back on?

If you're referring to the Touch Bar, the following steps may help:
1: On your Mac, choose Apple menu> System Settings, click Keyboard
in the sidebar, then click Touch Bar Settings on the right. (You may need to scroll down.)
2: Set options for the Touch Bar.
* Touch Bar shows: Click the pop-up menu, then choose what you want the Touch Bar to show—for example, app buttons or the expanded Control Strip.
* If you don’t want the Control Strip to be shown at the same time as app buttons, quick actions, or spaces, turn off Show Control Strip.
