Hi there,
Is there a way to change the color of the highlight that is over senders names in Apple Mail that it thinks are junk? It is terrible! I have spent wayyy too long on this without success. Thanks in advance for any help!!

Give this s try.
Mail->Settings->Junk Mail->click ‘Perform Custom Actions and then click Advanced. Now click the + sign next to Perform the following actions: Then pulldown the menu and select ‘Set Color and then select ‘text’ or ‘background’. Select from the offered colors or click on Other to bring the color picker wheel and play till you get what you want. All future junk mail should now appear with the color you selected. Add another rule if you want to change both text and background color.

Hi!
I was sure that was going to work, but no luck! For example, when I search for a sender, all of that sender's names are highlighted with that terrible shade of yellow. Makes me think I should use Gmail....haha!

Check System Settings, Appearance, then look at accent color and highlight colors and change there.
