iPhone content restriction works for all but one site

I am putting restrictions on an iphone, and have a long list of blocked sites to "never allow." But there is one site that somehow avoids the blocking. I have put unsplash.com on the "never allow" list numerous times, with and without https: etc, and have put in specific links from specific webpages on that site. But they are never blocked. I have had no trouble blocking any other website, but this one seems to evade the block. Any ideas as to what might be going on?

It's possible that the site unsplash.com is using a different domain or subdomain that is not on your list of blocked sites.

1. Go to the "Settings" app on your iPhone.

2. Tap on "Screen Time."

3. Tap on "Content & Privacy Restrictions."

4. If necessary, turn on "Content & Privacy Restrictions."

5. Tap on "Content Restrictions."

6. Tap on "Web Content."

7. Tap on "Limit Adult Websites."

8. Tap on "Add Website" under "Never Allow."

9. In the text box, enter `*.unsplash.com`.

10. Tap "Done" to save the changes.

This will block all subdomains of unsplash.com, including images.unsplash.com, photos.unsplash.com, etc. Note that adding a wildcard may also block other websites that have unsplash.com as a subdomain, so be sure to double-check your list of blocked sites to ensure that the correct sites are being blocked.
