After upgraded Monterey my laptop doesnt let me write my passcode

My laptop automatically installed a new upgrade to Monteray and i cannot acces it anymore

doesnt let me write my pass

the pad works the cursor works but when i put the cursor over the password space to write it down i cannot it doesnt work

when Monterey appeard one year and a half ago it happened the same

and now again

i tried rebooting system

nothing works

cannot acces my laptop because i cannot write my passcode where it supposed

Start your mac in Safe Mode. Can you enter your password then?

The method to use Safe Mode depends on whether you have an Intel or Apple Silicon mac.

In the former, start your mac and keep holding the Shift key until the Apple logo appears.

In the latter, press and hold the power key until you are shown a screen of startup options, and choose Safe Mode.
