First time user need help setting up FaceTime and messaging
Can you help me set up my iMessage and FaceTime?

On an Apple mobile device go to:
Settings > Facetime
Settings > iMessage
and turn on.

Also try restarting your device. That cleared up an activation issue we had, and it doesn't hurt to try.
