As noted, an iPhone 6 cannot update past iOS 12.5.7. If you need a newer iOS version, you will need a newer iPhone.
There are no updates for the iPhone 6.
You need an iPhone 7 if you want to run iOS 15
You need an iPhone 8 if you want to run iOS 16
You need an iPhone XS or higher if you want to run iOS 17
