Apple TV :Turn on your TV with your remote

In my Apple TV Turn on your TV with your remote option is not working earlier it was working fine all of sudden it’s stopped working and try to set up but I’m getting the msg like “you can’t use system control with this configuration “ so kindly advise how to set this. Thank you.

Check your TV for CEC activation (see the manual if needed). It would have an on|off setting, when supporting CEC.
Try resetting the HDMI connection by disconnecting the HDMI cable on both ends, then reconnect. Restarting all devices in the setup (really off for a while, not just standby) would have the same effect. Resetting the HDMI connection would also re-initialize CEC.
