Exchanging power adapter of different voltage

Hi

I am now living in a country where its voltage is 100v ~ 110v and I am moving to another country with a different voltage in every few years I have adapters for iPhone, MacBook.

Does Apple do a trade-in or exchange for an adapter of a different voltage? It should be more sustainable and environmentally friendly to exchange instead of throwing away the old adapter and buying a new one for the new country each time a person like me move. (I dont even mind a working second hand and not looking for the universal pack as I am not a frequent traveller.)

Hello,

Your charging adapter should be able to handle different voltages. No need to change it. See this from Apple:

"Apple USB power adapters are designed for use with power sources rated to provide 100V AC to 240V AC"

However, the wall outlets that the adapter plugs into may be different in different countries. You might need a universal wall adapter.
