lost files after update

hello, after I updated my Mac book to Ventura 13.3.1

I lost all the documents, how should I recover it?

I did not saved in iCloud.

Recovering Documents:


A. Use Spotlight Search

  1. Hold Down: the command key
  2. Press: the spacebar
  3. Type: [the name of a document]


B. IMPORTANT: Back Up your Mac Prior to an Update:

Learn from this: Take this as a learning experience, knowing to always create a Time Machine backup of your Mac prior to making any major change to it (i.e. update installation), so that you can have something to restore your Mac from, should anything go wrong afterwards.
