Reporting spam calendar invites on iPhone
How do I report and delete spam event invites (not calendar subscriptions) directly on iPhone, without replying to sender?

Mine were not from account closed, just a variety of places. I think it must have been a blip. At the very top of the calendar invite when you open it is a “report junk” link but it didn’t always show up for me, but I’ve found it again recently when I received the spam invites. I should have taken a photo as example!
This isn’t a sensible response. It’s the equivalent of saying you should reply to spam emails. Of course it’s critical not to let spammers know the email is live and responsive. This would provide them that.
Do your invites come from “Account Closed” and the title of the invite is a series of letters and numbers? There is no Unsubscribe button at the bottom and I’m not showing any Subscribed calendars either.

If it is spam and you have the option to reply then why not. Confront the sender should resolve.
