Spam calendar entries on iPhone 15th Dec

Help needed - I have 6 spam calendar entries that were entered onto my iPhone on 15th Dec and there are there every day for a month. I do not have the option to unsubscribe. I tried to long press and ‘cut’ the invite but this has not worked.

Any solutions would be appreciated

I would recommend logging into your Hotmail account directly using a web browser. From the calendar interface there, go to the first event in the spam series and try deleting it from there.

Should have mentioned it’s Hotmail

Stop syncing the Calendar of the Hotmail account if you do not use it and stick with the iCloud calendar. Not sure which iOS version you are using, but you can choose exactly what you want that email account to sync like shown here, just turn off the Calendar option, don't remove the account entirely:

Microsoft has had continual problems with spam calendar events that will show up on your Calendar because it is synced with the Microsoft servers where the spam originates. They have been able to block them in the past, but every once in a while, they will appear again.
