Yes, there are routing and account numbers associated with Apple Savings Account. Direct deposit of payroll may not be possible, depending on the payroll service your employer is using. You can access your account information via the savings account access in your Apple Card in your Wallet app.

View your Savings account balance and interest earned

1. On your iPhone, open the Wallet app and tap Apple Card.
2. Tap Savings account. From here you can see your Current Balance. This may include pending transactions or deposits, so the entire amount may not be available for you to withdraw immediately.

Possibly, this is a High Yield Savings Account, not a bill pay service, etc. Nothing will be automated. You can transfer to regular savings or checking accounts that offer the more convenient services you might be expecting.
