I want to direct deposit money from my paycheck into the apple savings account. I can't seem to find the numbers needed

You need the account number and routing number. You can find your number by following this path iPhone > Wallet app > tap Apple Card > tap Savings Account > tap More button (3 dots within a circle in the upper right of screen) tap Account Details > tap Routing & Account Numbers > long press account numbers and release > Copy tool with pop up. Paste number into payroll form or Notes app and give to your companies HR department.

You cannot deposit directly into Apple Savings by check, its does not support that. You deposit into your own bank account, and then transfer the funds to Apple Savings.
