since yesterday I’m trying to reach apple savings account customer service to add a beneficiary to my account nobody answered. Waiting 50 minutes, what’s happening???

Apple Savings issues? I been trying to have my external bank account verified by Goldman Sachs for the last 2 hours, I first spent about 20 minutes on the Apple chat which the wallet app prompted, then I was told to call an 877 number so I did. I was on hold for over an hour then they hung up on me or dropped the call. I called again and was on the phone with a representative by the name of Jaquada savings account specialist (who was not helpful at all and told me to call tomorrow because they were about to close it was 2:30 PM PT), and I was informed that I can't close my savings account. Is this accurate?

Unfortunately, the demand for the new Apple Savings account is exceeding the capacity of the systems in place to provide customer service. Please be patient during this extremely busy time.
