Do scars affect the functionality or accuracy of the Apple Watch health sensors?

Apple Watch Ultra Hardware With the latest high end watch, the Ultra, has Apple solved the sensor shortcomings they've had and known about for the past seven years with regards to not working over tattoos? I've tried them all through this time, even the series 7 which becomes nothing but a mere toy with all the loss of functionality. If anyone can clarify it wold be much appreciated and save me buying and returning yet another apple watch. Thanks in advance

Tattoo issue with Apple Watch Has the problem with the sensor not working through tattoos been resolved with series 8 or Ultra versions?

If you have no scars on the other wrist try recording a few parameters with the watch on each arm and if they match then your scar is not effecting performance.

As long as the sensors are touching skin (which isn't covered in dark tattoos), I would not think scars would impact the ability of the sensors to work.
