airpod pro not being verified
I have a genuine apple airpod pro as it is also showing in find my phone, was okay before IOS 16 update, now it shows as not verified

Unfortunately non-genuine AirPods can show on Find My network. I used to have a pair of fake 3rd Generation AirPods and they showed on Find My. (however did not have the features of playing a sound if lost)
What firmware update are you running on your AirPods Pro? You can check by going to Settings >> Bluetooth >> Click on the (i) icon next to your AirPods and scroll down to where it says "Version" under the About section. The most recent firmware update is 5E133.
