Why does the Roku app private listening feature not work with newest IPhone 14pro system?

AirPlay not available after IOS 18.1.1 Prior to 18.1.1 I could easily use AirPlay when streaming movies from iPhone 13 onto my Roku TV. Now the icon is not available. Same network being used. Some in discussion said iOS 18 dropped AirPlay but 18.1.1 fixed the issue but not in my case. I have restarted Roku settings twice, powered down iPhone three times to no avail. Suggestions? Can I just go back to previous iOS ?
