Workout Tracking-Post Activity

I completed a workout but forgot to start tracking the activity. How can I go back and add it?

To manually add a workout (and its data):

  1. In the Health App on the iPhone, tap on the Health Data tab at the bottom
  2. Then tap Activity and scroll down to Workouts and tap on it
  3. In the the top right hand corner of the screen it says add data (or simply +)
  4. Tap on that and you can enter a new workout and its data
  5. When you are finished tap on add at the top right of the screen.

Be aware though that this only effects your 3 rings on the day in question. And I am not sure this still works with the new iOS.

Thanks! I was able to add my workout for today which I had forgot to track before I started. However, I inadvertently put in that my workout was from approximately 9:15 a.m. to 11:00 P.M. because I didn't see the a.m. and p.m. settings! I do not see a way to edit my mistake. But, at least now I know how to go back and record a workout after the fact, albeit I need to pay attention to the a.m. and p.m.! It's hard to remember to start the fitness app when playing Pickleball! I appreciate your answer!
