iPhone 14 Pro Volume

My phone’s volume issues are universal, not limited to a specific use (I.e., headphones or carplay). i can barely hear alerts or the phone ring. i tried the suggestions mentioned to no avail. Called Apple Support & was advised to reset phone. That made it so much worse! Now I can barely hear person I'm talking to. If they're in a call center, I have them turn the volume up on their end. This makes the receiving volume on my end 'just adequate' but not great. Then, a few minutes into call, the volume is back down to almost mute. The original issue was just intermittent phone ringer volume problems. Now the phone is 100% almost mute for absolutely everything. I double check the call volume indicator but it's always at maximum.

is there a way to boost volume on entire device? I'm thinking of the audible equivalent to the button for larger text.
