Maps is giving me a message Low EV Battery on my iphone when the EV battery is not low
I don't see anything about the EV battery in settings. Why is the Maps app in CarPlay in my electric car giving this message when the battery is over 76%?

Go to Maps, click on your profile (next to search bar), go to vehicles, and delete your vehicle.
Contact the manufacturer of your vehicle. This is not an issue with the phone. It is only reporting what the vehicle is telling it to report.
Apple does not play a role in warnings about your electric vehicle’s battery.
Being an electric vehicle driver myself, I will take an educated guess what you’re seeing, and it has nothing to with Apple or iPhone.
You have chosen a destination on your EV’s map that would deplete your car’s battery if you were to go there.
I have this issue too. Low EV charge notification from Apple Maps with vehicle battery at ~90%. Phone connected with apple car play. Message pops up as phone disconnects / switch vehicle off
I have tested multiple vehicle manufacterers and I get the same message. So this is a manaufacterer issue. Message only pops up in the notifcation section on Iphone (not in car itself)
If you are saying that the Battery Health / Maximum Capacity of your phone is 76%, the battery needs to be replaced.
Home Screen > Battery > Battery Health > Maximum Capacity.
Not sure what EV battery might mean. Car battery pack?
If 76% represents something else, please provide more details.
It is showing on my Ford Mustang Mach-E the Maps icon and the message "Time Sensitive. Low EV Battery. Find an EV Charger." I don't see anything in Settings on my iPhone maps or Battery section to figure out why this is happening.

Irrelevant. If you were to power down your iPhone and stop using CarPlay, would you not see the same message? I admit I don’t know whether it’s Apple Maps or your Mustang’s navigation system in control here, but the problem is likely the same. Get rid of your far-away destination.
UPDATE - I wrote the above before you entered a second response.
I'm using CarPlay in the vehicle.
I am using CarPlay from my iPhone and not the navigation system that came with the car. I didn't have a destination on that would take all my EV 76% charge.

The iPhone has nothing to do with the battery pack in your car.

You don’t need to use all your charge to receive a warning.
Me too
I own a Ford, what make is your vehicle? I've tested Ford and VW with same results
