Received notification on my phone and watch series 7. Find my device is initiated on both items.

Device was left behind. This device is no longer detected near you. It has last seen near an address we had passed 30 minutes earlier.

Both items were on me. Watch on my arm and phone in my back pocket.

Why the notication?

Stolen Apple Watch Hi all, I suspect my Apple Watch has been stolen by my flat mate. Using ‘find my’ on my iPhone shows my watch offline with the last location being in my house. The location has been updating every 2 days, moving to different parts off the house, while still remaining offline. my question is why is the location updating when the watches battery should be dead? Stolen iphone My Iphone 11 was stolen and I look in the "i cloud find my iphone" online on my computer and it says "no conexion" and it does not show my iphone's location . However, I go to "find my devices" on my apple watch and it shows a location and after a certain period of time i get updates with diferent locations. What is going on? should I trust my apple watch information? why the finder on icloud.com does not work ?

“Find my” shows lost gen1 watch randomly At Random times of day, my stolen gen1 Apple Watch appears “home” in my “find my” apl at random times of day when cars drive by. Why? I’ve setup video cameras because I thought I’d discover who was passing my house with my Apple Watch. I was actually hoping it would help me track down my briefcase with work laptop and iPhone 12, and personal AirPods, Apple TV and external hard drive in addition to the Apple Watch. The Apple Watch showing as “home” had me looking in bushes, accusing neighbors of maybe having my watch. But today I read this article and read this key statement, “Since Apple Watch Series 1 doesn't have GPS, you'll see the location of your paired iPhone or its Wi-Fi connection.” from: If your Apple Watch is lost or stolen - Apple Support I understand Apple has larger things to fix, but I just want to understand… 1) why do the times appear random? 2) why is there always a car driving past when the Watch was last “home”? Might there be some Apple AirTag type of communication with devices in the cars? Like maybe someone broadcasting their location in the car?
