My Apple Watch Series 3 42 mm aluminum has no band release buttons on it the band just slide into the watch why is there no buttons

When you turn the watch upside down to see the sensors, are there not two buttons underneath at both sides where you would push them to release the band from your watch?
Please post a photo of the underside of the watch. If it has no buttons, you don't have an authentic Apple Watch.
