How do you export a Pages document into a Numbers document?

I could not find any solution to this and several people had asked it. I found the easiest way is to just do a copy/paste of the data. Depending on what you have, you may have to do some editing, but that seems to be the best method.

Pages is a word processing program & Numbers is a spreadsheet. They have different functions. You can copy & paste the table from one program to the other. You don't need to copy & paste the data itself, copying the table will work.
