Macbook Bluetooth Keyboard Play/Pause

When I press the pause button on my MacBook Bluetooth keyboard, the video only pauses for a second before resuming automatically. How do I change the settings in order to pause the video on my keyboard without it automatically resuming playing?

Cannot pause the video with spacebar I'm using Ventura 13.4. Both on Safari and Chrome, if I use the arrow cursor on the keyboard to go forward/backward, the play bar would highlight blue around it. Then I cannot use the spacebar to pause the video anymore. I have to click on the screen to "deselect" the highlighted blue around the play bar, and then the space bar works afterward. Is there a way I can make the arrow buttons would not do this??

Bluetooth Mouse Going to Sleep I have a Bluetooth mouse connected to my MacBook Air and when I am in my virtual meetings and not using the mouse, the mouse disconnects from Bluetooth. How do I stop this from happening? I need the mouse to be available all of the time.

It happens when you use mac app for whatsapp and you listen to a voice message in the whatsapp app. If you close/reopen the app, then the button keeps working. If you listen to a voice message again, then it stops working. Mine was like this.
