Is m2 chip is good for student

"Student" is way too broad a category. Are you a high school student? A college student studying engineering? A graduate student in French literature? Studying animation at an art institute? Each of these types of students would have different needs. If you are in post-secondary school, I recommend you speak to your advisor or other students in your department and find out what the computing needs really are for your discipline.

The M2 chip provides some modest improvements in graphics but not sure any student would see the difference. Take a look at this comparison:
