Error message popping up regarding Microsoft Update Assistant

Recently began getting error regarding Microsoft Update Assistant. Unable to update further, so how do I find and delete software that's prompting this error. Late 2009 - iMac OS EL CAPITAN, vs 10.11.6 - don't have any Windows software (to my knowledge) on Mac. Searched but don't find Microsoft software. Thanks.
