Nike Run Club Apple Watch

The Nike Run Club App on my My Apple Watch (Series 4)is recording my runs while I am in progress. When I end the run by hitting the stop button it tells me the data etc. and gives the inspirational message. The run appears on the watch briefly and then is gone. I get a message on the watch “It’s time to run” and a message below that “come back to see your most recent runs”. I go back later and they are not there. They are also not syncing to the NRC app on my phone. No idea where they have gone.

Hey there Kevinm17,

We'd like to lend a hand!

If this is a new issue with the app and Apple Watch, first try restarting your Apple Watch and paired iPhone. After restarting, test to see if this continues. If it does, you'll want to check for app and software updates next.

If the issue persists, it's possible there is an issue with the app and being able to access health data. Use the steps from Nike below to reconnect the app and health data:

"HOW DO I CONNECT THE NIKE RUN CLUB APP AND APPLE HEALTH?

Connecting the Nike Run Club App to Apple Health enables you to view Active Energy, Heart Rate, Walking + Running Distance, and Workouts tracked by NRC in the Health app itself.

You'll have the opportunity to connect the two apps the first time you use the NRC App by doing the following:

  1. After the "WHAT'S NEW" screen, tap "OK LET’S GO."
  2. Tap "Allow" to authorize the Nike Run Club App to send data to the Health app.
  3. Tap "Done."

If you choose to connect them later, you can do so at any time from your phone’s "Settings" menu by taking the following steps:

  1. In Settings, scroll down and tap "Privacy."
  2. Tap "Health."
  3. Tap "Nike Run Club."
  4. Select the data to share with the Health app. Choose from:
    • Active Energy
    • Heart Rate
    • Walking + Running Distance
    • Workouts

Once connected, data will automatically flow from NRC to Health and will be there for you to view whenever you'd like."

Thank you hc1111. My issue was more with the NRC+ on the Apple Watch not communicating with the NRC+ app on the IPhone. It was communicating with the Fitness App. The NRC+ watch runs were showing up on the fitness app (IPhone) but not the NRC+ app. I ended up deleting and then reinstalling the app on my phone. I was going to do that originally but I was worried it would wipe out the previous history. It did not thankfully lol. When I reinstalled the app it picked up one run that I did but not another. So all in all I only lost credit for one run on the NRC+. It did record in the fitness app. Your answer helped as I had not turned the data sharing back on after the reinstall. Thank you!
