Airpods

Why can people hear my music from my AirPods? If they are turned up too loud they are not even that loud and people can still hear it.

Hey Yourmom42,

This is most likely due to build up of earwax or debris in behind the grill mesh of your AirPods. I have the same issue as my 2nd Gen AirPods are hand-me-downs and have earwax that I can't get to that is causing me to have to turn up the volume, and other people can hear my music, however it doesn't sound that loud to me.

You can look at this Apple Support Document that gives you the steps of what to do: How to clean your AirPods, AirPods Pro, AirPods Max, and EarPods - Apple Support (IE)

Hope this helps! :D
